Drinking Dice Games
When the card games get old and the beer pong table is worn out it signifies a time to finally try out some drinking dice games. These usually can be played with more people then normal card games and can be dynamic and fun all around.
One of Six Rack's favorite dice drinking games is by far and away the game known as "3 man"
3 man or three man is one of the more fun drinking dice games because it can be played by big crowd of people and gets more and more outrageous as the game goes on.
- You need at least 4-5 people to start
- You need 2 normal playing dice(6-sided)
- You need a large enough table to play the game on
The game of 3 man is similar to some card drinking games such as kings(kings cup),ring of fire, and circle of death. It is similar in the sense that just as every card in the deck "means something" so does every roll of the die. We call these rolls that mean something as something of "consequence". When it is your turn if you roll something of consequence then an action is performed and you then roll again. If you finally roll something that means nothing then you pass the dice clockwise to the next person. The wild-card in this game is that if you roll something of consequence 5 times in a row you then get to "make-a-rule" similar to how you would in kings or asshole. An example rule would be "No one can use names the rest of the game, if you do you drink". You don't want to be too out of line with these rules cause they do stack up over time.
Rolls of Consequence:
Doubles = If you roll doubles you then get to give either both dice to once person or split them to 2 different people. Either that person or 2 people then have to attempt to roll doubles "back at you". They only get one try, if they fail then they drink--however if they succeed you drink double. Even if they roll doubles back at you, you still get to keep rolling since you originally rolled "a thing of consequence".
4 and 1 = If someone rolls a 4 and a 1 then it is nose game. that means that the last person to place their finger on their nose has to drink.
7 = If you roll a 7 then the person to your left has to drink
11 = If you roll an 11 then the person to your right has to drink
A dice with 3 = Any time you roll and one of the dice is a 3 then the "3 man" has to drink. This will be explained later. The 3-man is similar to the asshole in asshole--it is not a position you want.
If you roll anything else then it means nothing and you must pass the dice.
Being the 3 man:
When the game begins someone either volunteers to be the 3 man or everyone rolls to see who the lowest dice is to become the 3 man. Once the game begins if you roll a 2 and a 1 you then become the new 3-man. Every time a 3 is rolled on any dice you as the 3 man have to drink. As you can see once the game gets going it can become one of the crazier drinking dice games to play with a group.
